Our One-Day Acrylic Nail Extensions Training Course is designed for beginners with some practice experience who want to learn how to create beautiful and long-lasting acrylic nail extensions. Acrylic nails are one of the most popular nail systems in the UK for adding length and strength to natural nails, and this course will give you the essential skills and knowledge to get started in the nail industry.

Course Overview:

This course will be completed in 1 Day (10am – 4pm), providing an intensive learning experience with a focus on practical skills and theory.

You will learn:

• Health & Safety: Key health, safety, and hygiene procedures for performing nail treatments.

• Anatomy & Physiology: Basic anatomy and physiology of the skin and nails.

• Consultation & Contraindications: How to conduct consultations and identify contraindications for acrylic nails.

• Nail Preparation: Techniques for properly preparing natural nails for extensions.

• Acrylic Tip Application: How to apply and blend false tips for nail extensions.

• Acrylic Overlay: Learn how to apply acrylic to create strong and durable nail extensions.

• Maintenance & Removal: Proper maintenance procedures and how to safely remove acrylic nails.

Course Duration / Timings:

The course runs for 6 hours from 10am – 4pm with a short break for lunch. Please arrive at 9.45am for a prompt start. You will also receive a pre-course e-manual upon booking to prepare you for the training day.

Certification:

Upon successful completion, you will receive your NBK Academy Certificate accredited by ABT, which allows you to purchase insurance and start offering professional acrylic nail treatments.

Career Opportunities:

After completing the course, you can begin your career as a nail technician, either by setting up your own business from home or offering mobile services.

Entry Requirements:

You must be 16 years or older to attend this course. It is suitable for beginners with some practice experience. For those with no prior knowledge, I recommend the two day or three-day Complete Nail Course to build a solid foundation in nail treatments.
